DARE to DREAM beyond Delhi…

Not long ago Odisha was contributing a good number of her bright students to the central bureaucracy in the form of IAS & Allied Services. But unfortunately now-a-days the number has reduced significantly. Of course there are various reasons to it, but it is certainly no reason that Odisha is no more having visionary and competitive students on its soil. The only perceivable problem is that Odisha is not really having a good IAS training centre for its aspirants with all-India level competing quality. Only the affluents could migrate to Delhi for a long stay for that arduous journey, which is definitely a costly affair for many Odia students and most particularly for girls, for whom again staying so away from home is not that easy.

ACADEMY FOR CIVIL SERVICES (ACS) has come to Odisha with a mission to increase the intake of Odia students to the central bureaucracy by giving them specialized training on various optional subjects and General Studies by focusing on personal care and guidance. Its faculties have been carefully chosen from the pool of former scholars of JNU, IIT-Delhi, IIT-Bombay, IIMC-Delhi and Delhi University who have themselves appeared for civil services several times and very well know the nitty-gritty of the dynamics of civil services preparation, who also again have years of experience in teaching, academics, research and industry.

ACADEMY FOR CIVIL SERVICES believes in QUALITY, VISION and SUCCESS. ACS has concentrated on the mission to bring Delhi to Odisha and make Odisha one of the manufacturing hubs of IAS officers and help UPSC and this country select better bureaucrats and technocrats from the soil of Odisha. Let’s not be handicapped by our inability to migrate to Delhi for whatever reason. Let’s fix our mission right here, on the sacred soil of Odisha; let’s materialize our mission here and repeat the years of 70’s and 80’s when the intake of IAS and Allied officers from Odisha was very high.
